You are warmly invited to our rural chapel and garden to undertake your own day retreat. Our retreat centre is set in a beautiful position on the Berks/Hants border. Walks on the adjoining common or woodland, which has a lake, are highly recommended. Individual maps are available showing routes to suit all abilities. These include a walk around the Silchester Roman Wall and Amphitheatre.

Our retreat garden, with its mosaic of creation and the rainbow, offers the ideal setting for your special day.

Comfortable, flexible facilities are available with full use of the church, hall, kitchen, garden and a small lounge.

The catering facilities are good, wheelchair users are welcome and there is plenty of off-road parking.

Your retreat day can be planned around any theme, organised by yourselves or by us eg, meditative, craft or discussion based.

Walkers will need suitable attire and footwear.

Hire charges are dependent on the space needed and the time of the year. Typical hourly rates in the summer are

Main Hall   £15

Sanctuary   £20

These rates include the use of the kitchen, lounge and toilets. In winter there is an additional £5 per hour to cover heating costs. There is a discount if you wish to hire the entire building.
